The Union is only as strong as the Membership want's it to be. In order to be successful we need the participation from the rank and file! In addition to enforcing the contract, there is the business side of the Local that has to be conducted. We have to keep the building in working order, we have to keep the grounds clean, and much more.
So how can you help?
Volunteer to do small repairs
Volunteer to do landscape work
Volunteer to paint the outside of the building
Volunteer to fix the outside CWA sign
Volunteer to convert the bbq to gas
Volunteer to ...There is much more...........just call and ask!
Of course we all understand what volunteering means: to help on ones own time, without payment or compensation!
