Eduardo Diaz Union-To-Union International Solidarity Fund
CWA has always been a leader in International Solidarity. Our work in this area has always been guided by the belief that we can create a better world where all workers, whichever country they live in and whichever industry they are working in, must have the right to join and organize unions. To continue that important endeavor, CWA offers Locals an opportunity to voluntarily fund Union-to-Union projects that support workers around the world.

When you donate to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS), not only are you investing in research to find cures as soon as possible, but you’re also helping blood cancer patients get the critical help they need today.
As you read about the impacts we have made, we ask that you consider supporting us by donating now.
Research: The leading edge of cures for all cancers is blood cancer research. It’s changing the way we understand the genetic makeup and behavior of the disease.
As there are no means of preventing or early screening for most blood cancers, the LLS research agenda is focused on finding cures. LLS research investment has played a critical role in advancing therapies for blood cancer patients, including targeted and immunotherapies.
LLS drives research helps to bridge the gap between academic discovery and drug development. In Fiscal 2015, we invested $67.2 million in research, supporting 277 research projects and 24 Therapy Acceleration Program partnerships.
Advocacy: We need to be able to get those breakthroughs to patients as quickly as possible and we must ensure that patients have access to the therapies they need to live longer, better, healthier lives. LLS’s Policy and Advocacy Team is dedicated to removing the barriers to access and cures by encouraging state and federal legislators to support access to affordable treatment and new therapies.
Patient Support: We are the leading source of free, highly specialized blood cancer information, education and support. Our Information Resource Center has responded to approximately 60,000 inquiries in fiscal 2015 and LLS provided $41.8 million to patients in FY15.
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) is the world's largest voluntary health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research, education and patient services. LLS's mission: Cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. See how your donations are invested wisely.
